Vida M Berryhill died peacefully on May 16th, 2017 in Tempe, Arizona at the age of 95. Vida is survived by her children Kathy, Shirley, Mike, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Vida was born on January 7th, 1922 in Quitman, Arkansas to Charlie A Brannon and Alva M Maddox. Charlie and Alva were married on September 9th, 1915 and started a family. Vida was the youngest of three siblings, brother George Edward Brannon and sister Lola Mae Brannon. In December of 1936, the Brannon family moved to Arizona due to their father's ill health. There Vida met George Berryhill and married him on January 22nd, 1940. Once settled with George and her family, Vida worked at the original Food City Market as the Health and Beauty Aid Buyer. Upon retirement Vida enjoyed spending time with her family and became quite the thrill seeker. Her many adventures included sky diving, hot air ballooning across the Arizona desert, hitting the rapids on a white water rafting trip and speeding around a NASCAR race track.

A viewing is scheduled 9 am with the service at 10 am Tuesday May 23rd, 2017 at Green Acres 401 North Hayden Road in Scottsdale, Arizona. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Vida's life. In lieu of flowers a donation in her name can be sent to The Arizona Humane Society or Hospice of the Valley.
